hich articulator is suitable
for which type of restorati-
on? Basically, the following
applies: if it involves a simple restora-
tion, a simple articulator is sufficient.
If the dentist dispenses with the use
of individual patient parameters, the
dental technician can work with a se-
mi-adjustable non-arcon articulator
(for example Artex CN or Artex CT; Fig.
1 and 2). The outcome, however, bears
the risk that even a single restoration
appears too high intraorally and has

restoration. The first part focussed on the model fabrication as
the basis for the digital workflow. In the second part the authors
explain how to select the articulator and customised calibration.
The objective is to transfer the patient data exactly in the
Ceramill CAD/CAM system.
