Design of aesthetic denture bases
In the customization of dentures, our
efforts should not be limited to the
«white» aesthetics. They should also
include the “pink” aesthetics.
Especially in patients with gums that
feature a shade differing from the
«standard» range, the shade of the
denture base needs to be individually
adjusted.
The «Esthetic Color Set» from Candulor
offers versatile design options as far as
the individual shading of denture bases
is concerned.
But not only optimal shading plays a
decisive role in the customization of
denture bases. The finishing procedure
used or the surface texture created
makes all the difference. For this
purpose, suitable carbide burs should
be used.
